The St. Barnabas Mission is the hub of a number of initiatives, including the Ecumenical Catholic Diocese of America, designed to build bridges of faith, hope and love. It is established as a non-profit church body. Outreach and Care are the core values of the St. Barnabas Mission as we intentionally create and support Catholic Communities in the Diaspora. We work to re-establish the married Catholic priesthood, to support women in their call to the ordained priesthood and to endorse chaplaincies and other ministries with particular attention to those people who are marginalized. We commit ourselves to forging a more wholesome, gospel-centered, and ecumenical Church and a greener world for our families. Our mission is rooted in our belief in Jesus the Christ and our call as Christians to follow Jesus in living a life of service to all.

Wedding Ministries
ECDA Clergy provide wedding services to couples in their area. Some of our clergy work with a couple to provide any type of ceremony desired, while others provide a specifically religious type of ceremony. In any case you will find our clergy warm, welcoming, and willing to work with you to plan your wedding ceremony, or to be of service by helping you to connect with someone better able to provide the type of ceremony you are seeking. We welcome and look forward to speaking with all couples, regardless of religious affiliation or gender orientation. Here are some areas where we provide service.
Long Island and the Tri-State Area: Most Rev. Peter Paul Brennan ministers as a wedding officiant in this area. He can be contacted at FatherBrennan@aol.com or by phone at 516-485-0616.
